Ghanaian rising musician Monarch Darkwah Young, popularly known as MDY, has officially released his brand-new single titled “Odo Broni,” a song that is gradually gaining attention among highlife music lovers.

MDY, who has openly expressed his admiration for legendary Ghanaian highlife icon Daddy Lumba, says his love for authentic Ghanaian music continues to shape his sound and artistic direction. The talented artiste is focused on taking highlife music to another level while preserving the genre’s rich cultural identity.

The song was produced by legendary and award-winning producer Roro, who has praised the growing reception of the song since its release. According to Roro, “Odo Broni” has been receiving strong attention from listeners, with many appreciating its quality production, melody, and genuine highlife vibe.

The collaboration between MDY and Roro blends classic highlife influences with a modern touch, creating a sound that appeals to both old-school and new-generation music fans.

With “Odo Broni,” MDY continues to establish himself as one of the promising young artistes determined to keep Ghanaian highlife music alive and relevant in today’s music scene.
